Roku’s use of search data to pick Sunday night’s Emmy winners proved to be a fun exercise that produced results that would barely keep a hitter above The Mendoza Line.
While Roku’s search results, which span some 20 OTT sources, offer a good picture of what entertainment-hungry consumers are looking for, they didn’t quite match up with how the voting went. Here’s Roku’s three-for-14 showing:
