ACC's Board Elects Time Warner Cable's Surratt as President
The board of directors of the Association of Cable Communicators has elected Anthony Surratt, group vice president, corporate communications, Time Warner Cable as the group’s president and a member of the executive committee.
Surratt, who was elected during the organization’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C., began his term at the conclusion of Forum 2012 and will serve as ACC president until the conclusion of Forum 2014.
“In my two decades in the cable business, I’ve not experienced a time with as much change, opportunity and challenge swirling around us as right now,” said Surratt. “Cable’s professional communicators are critical to helping our companies and our industry meet today’s challenges and communicate why our products and solutions are the best choices for consumers and businesses. With my fellow board members, I’m honored to lead Cable’s only professional organization for communicators at this exciting time and to work with all of our members to represent our profession and industry.”
