Advanced Digital Broadcast Ltd. said it has signed Cable Television Laboratories Inc.'s POD-Host Interface License Agreement (PHILA), which will allow the company to license patented "DFAST" technology for CableCard-enabled set-top boxes.
Bill Luehrs, corporate executive vice president and president of ADB Americas, said the company plans to introduce cable interactive set-tops with OCAP (OpenCable Applications Platform) middleware in 2004.
ADB also said it will showcase its OCAP applications this week at the Western Show with Concurrent Computer Corp.
