Adelphia Communications Corp. has expanded its agreement with enterprise-software vendor Everstream Inc., the two parties said Monday.
The No. 5 MSO will deploy Everstream's “S4 Xi (eXpanse Intelligence)” and “ReportOne” enterprise-reporting solutions to support all of its video-on-demand markets.
Adelphia has been using Everstream's “S4 Operational Intelligence (Oi)” software since November 2003 to measure key performance indicators and troubleshoot its VOD-service offerings.
“We selected Everstream because of their ability to adapt to and integrate with each of our deployed VOD platforms," Adelphia director of advanced video engineering and development John Roy said in a prepared statement.
“More important, we have been able to provide direct feedback in the development of many of Everstream's new and existing products to aid in the centralization of our operational and marketing statistics and reporting,” Roy added. “The centralization of this information allows us to manage all of the VOD reporting and analytical information and make informed company strategic decisions."
