A+E Networks said A&E and Lifetime network apps have been added to the Xbox 360 game and entertainment system from Microsoft for Xbox Live Gold members in the U.S.
Sister network History recently launched its network app on the platform. Information about how to download the new A&E and Lifetime apps are available at www.aetv.com/xbox-app and www.mylifetime.com/xbox-app.
The apps enable users to watch episodes, movies and exclusive clips from A&E and Lifetime programming. Users who sign in via their TV or satellite provider also have access to full previous seasons of some series. Xbox 360 also enables the use of Kinect to navigate the apps via voice and gestures.
A+E Networks apps on the iOS, Android, Kindle Fire HD and Xbox 360 platforms have generated more than 8 million downloads to date.
