A&E Network said Friday that it named Scott Vila vice president of original drama programming.
Vila, who worked previously at startup production company The Firm Television, reports to senior vice president of drama programming Tana Nugent Jamieson.
A&E said Vila will be responsible for the development and production of the network’s original scripted dramatic series, under the newly formed west coast development division headed by Jamieson.
Prior to joining A&E Scott developed and Executive Produced the NBC drama series Medical Investigation.
