Altitude Sports & Entertainment has reached a multiyear carriage agreement with DirecTV Inc.
Beginning Nov. 5, Altitude -- which airs Denver Nuggets National Basketball Association games and has the rights to the currently locked-out National Hockey League’s Colorado Avalanche -- will be available to the direct-broadcast satellite provider’s subscribers in the regional sports network’s service area on the “DirecTV Total Choice” programming package on channel 644.
The DirecTV pact, terms of which were not disclosed, gives Altitude carriage on all major distributors in the area except Comcast Corp., according to network officials.
