'American Chopper' Closes Season With Seven-Year Nielsen High

Discovery Channel notched the highest ratings for American Chopper in seven years with Monday night's season-concluder.
The Feb. 7 telecast of American Chopper: Senior Vs. Junior at 9 p.m. averaged a 2.49 household rating, translating into 3.47 million watchers, according to Nielsen data. The show also garnered a 2.01 mark against adults 25 to 54.
The episode ranked third among cable shows, excluding sports, among guys 18 to 49 and 18 to 34, according to network officials.
