Alan Amos has joined OpVista Inc. as vice president of sales for the U.S. Eastern region.
Amos had been responsible for cable-system sales in the northeast region at Harmonic Inc.
In his new role at the optical-transport-systems vendor, he will “be responsible for fueling growth and responding to strong industry interest in OpVista's ‘MetroVista’ optical-transport-system product line,” the company said in a prepared statement.
