Angel Annussek has been promoted to vice president of original programming at truTV, from executive producer and editorial director.
The Turner Broadcasting System outlet said she would work closely with senior vice president of programming, production and development Darren Campo and Marc Juris, executive vice president and chief operating officer, to continue expanding the network programming.
Based in New York, Annussek will oversee production and content for the network's original programming, including pilots, series and specials. She will also continue to provide editorial oversight and direction for such truTV shows as Black Gold, Operation Repo and the upcoming Killer Karaoke.
"This is a well-deserved promotion for Angel, who has been an important part of truTV's rapidly growing success in original programming," Campo said in a release. "I am confident that Angel's expanded role will strengthen our creative team and take truTV's original programming to new heights."
Annussek joined truTV in September 2004, serving as executive producer on Operation Repo and Black Gold. Her role expanded in February 2011 to include duties as editorial director.
