Arris has tapped Ralph Galione as vice president of sales for the Comcast account, after he previously served in a similar position for Cisco Systems.
Comcast historically has been Arris' single biggest customer. The cable operator represented 26.3%, or $300.9 million, of its 2008 revenue of $1.1 billion.
Galione reports to Dan Whalen, Arris senior vice president of sales. Galione lives in New Jersey and is a graduate of Fairfield University in Connecticut, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting.
