Arris Names Board; Greene to Center
Arris named six influential engineers to a new technical-advisory board,
responsible for providing the cable vendor with marketplace and technical
knowledge.
The six are:
\u0007 Former Cable Television Laboratories Inc. executive Stephen Dukes, now
president and chief executive of Imaginary Universe;
\u0007 David Bukovisnky, former vice president, WildBlue Communications Inc.;
\u0007 Walter Ciciora, VP, HBA-Matchmaker-Media;
\u0007 Steve Craddock, senior VP, Comcast Corp.;
\u0007 Nick Hamilton-Piercy, senior technology advisor, Rogers Cable Inc.; and

\u0007 Mark Dzuban, formerly of AT&T Broadband.
The group will focus on multimedia over Internet protocol, home networking,
distributed video and interactive gaming, TV-based electronic mail and
energy-monitoring services.
Separately, The Cable Center announced that Susan Greene has been appointed
senior VP and director of the Programming Institute. The former NBC Cable
executive will direct the center's programming initiatives.
