'Ash Vs. Evil Dead' Drives Halloween TV Twitter
Starz’s Oct. 31 premiere of horror-themed series Ash vs. Evil Dead was the most active television show on Twitter during an otherwise quiet Halloween night for TV shows on social media.
Ash vs. Evil Dead drew 9,000 tweets reaching a unique Twitter audience of 471,000 Twitter users to best all TV shows Saturday night, according to Nielsen’s TV Twitter ratings. BBC America’s Doctor Who also drew 9,000 tweets reaching 335,000 Twitter users to finish second.
Travel Channel’s spooky reality series Ghost Adventures finished third, followed by Sundance Channel’s The Returned and BBC America’s The Last Kingdom, said Nielsen.
