A new Asian-themed entertainment-programming network will look to gain cable carriage in mid-2004.
Privately owned WorldAsia Television will feature English-language, Asian-oriented programming, from martial-arts and holistic-health shows to Japanese anime, according to founder and CEO Michael Tsang.
The network is expected to announce programming and possible distribution deals at next month’s National Association of Television Programming Executives conference in Las Vegas.
