Astound Broadband completed its purchase of RCN’s San Francisco assets for $45 million in cash.
The transaction -- valued at approximately $2,500 per subscriber -- was originally announced in August.
Astound currently delivers cable, Internet and phone services to some 55,000 video, data and phone customers in Concord and Walnut Creek, Calif., and the San Francisco operations serve approximately 18,000 subscribers.
