Banker Jeff Sine Jumps to UBS

published NEW YORK-Investment banker Jeffrey Sine-a media-industry heavyweight-has left Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. to head up rival UBS Warburg's global technology, media and telecom department, UBS said late Thursday.
Sine, who worked on such megadeals as America Online Inc.'s acquisition of Time Warner Inc. and Viacom Inc.'s purchase of CBS Corp. while at Morgan Stanley, will also be managing director and vice chairman of UBS Warburg investment banking.
