Heavyweight media investment banker Jeffrey Sine jumped from Morgan Stanley
Dean Witter & Co. to head up rival UBS Warburg LLC's global technology,
media and telecommunications department, UBS said late Thursday.
Sine -- who worked on such mega-deals as America Online Inc.'s acquisition of
Time Warner Inc. and Viacom Inc.'s purchase of CBS Corp. while at Morgan Stanley
-- will also be managing director and vice chairman of UBS Warburg Investment
Banking.
