BBC America to Launch Comedy, Movies
Hollywood, Calif. -- BBC America will import a new comedy series featuring
three African-American comedians as part of its summer original-programming
lineup.
3 Non-Blondes, a 30-minute hidden-camera comedy show currently airing on
Britain’s youth-targeted BBC Three network, will premiere in the United States
Aug. 10, network executives said.
Also scheduled to premiere on the network later this year is Cambridge
Spies, a U.S. original movie based on the lives of four of the most infamous
and successful spies in the history of modern intelligence.
