Because there is no shortage of fame-hungry people for reality talent competitions, NBC's America's Got Talent wants to see if its nationwide search missed anyone. The network has turned to YouTube auditions to cover its bases. Viewers have until June 1 to showcase their "talent" and submit their YouTube video for a chance to appear on the show for a shot at the $1 million prize. The 90-second video submissions should tell the judges who you are and why you deserve the opportunity to compete in front of a live audience-as well as highlighting your unique talent

GM Wants to Drive Upfront in Reverse
TV ad sales execs say automaker General Motors is looking for a double-digit rollback in prices for the ads it buys in this year's upfront.
GM has already made noise in the market by canceling $10 million worth of advertising on Facebook and opting out of the super Bowl on cBs next February. Former media agency executive turned analyst Brian Wieser says the moves signal that GM is looking to boost its leverage by demonstrating it's willing to walk away from negotiations with any media owner.
