The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers’ "Operación Español" won two "Beacon Awards" from the Cable & Telecommunications Public Affairs Association.
The awards recognized the launch of the first Spanish-language version of the SCTE’s "Broadband Premises Specialist" certification.
The engineering group’s Spanish-language certification testing launched in November in Tucson, Ariz., with industry support from Comcast Corp., Cox Communications Inc. and CommScope Inc.
