BET's `106 & Park' Specials Draw 2.6 Million Viewers
BET's music countdown show 106 & Park celebrated its 10th anniversary on air with two specials that drew a combined 2.5 million viewers.
The Oct. 5 prime-time retrospective special 106 & Park: 10 Years & Counting, drew 1.4 million viewers, while an Oct. 6 special edition of the daily series, titled 106 & Park: The Celebration, 10 Years Live, was viewed by 1.1 million watchers, according to the network
Celebration, which featured special appearances and performances by Ashanti, Bow Wow, Chris Brown, Nick Cannon, Ice Cube, Fabolous, Jamie Foxx, Keri Hilson, Ray J., Nelly, Jim Jones, Plies, Busta Rhymes, Juelz Santana, Trey Songz and Tristan Wilds, posted the highest rating for a 106 & Park episode so far this year, according to BET.
Overall, 106 & Park ranks as the top music variety show on cable for the past 13 consecutive quarters among Adults 18-49, according to Nielsen.
