'Big Break' Golfers Will Compete For Cash, Eh
Golf Channel's 11th season of its original reality show Big Break will showcase the competitors vying for cash for the first time.
Premiering April 20 at 9 p.m. ET in high-definition, Big Break Prince Edward Island will showcase six females and six males in a competition that test every phase of their games, course management and mental toughness -- with $100,000 on the line, which can help the winner finance their dream to play on the pro tour for a year.
It also marks the first time Golf Channel has held the competition series in Canada.
Past Big Break champions have won tournament exemptions to compete on some of the world's top professional circuits, such as the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, European Tour, LPGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and Canadian Tour.
Big Break Prince Edward Island, shot at Miller River Golf Course in the Canadian province, will be co-hosted by former PGA Tour pro Charlie Rymer and Golf Digest senior editor Stina Sternberg
