Widevine Technologies announced Monday that Brasil Telecom chose it to provide digital-rights management for its yet-to-be-launched Internet-protocol-TV service.
Brasil Telecom, which will be the first IPTV provider in Brazil, has more 10.8 million fixed lines and more than 3 million mobile-phone customers.
