Bravo: Heroes, Villains and Vixens, Oh My!

While Bravo executives will declare their upfront intentions for the 2005-06 TV season to the press at Rockefeller Center Tuesday, the world will be a better place knowing the outcome of the network’s upcoming three-part special Ultimate Super Heroes, Ultimate Super Villains, Ultimate Super Vixens.

Narrated by Batman’s Adam West, Bravo’s special -- airing May 26-28 from 10 p.m.-11 p.m. (EST) -- will celebrate the top villains, heroes and vixens who have left audiences with lasting impressions over the years.

Produced by Prometheus Entertainment and Fox Television Studios in association with Bravo, the special will count down the top 20 lists in each category as determined by comic-book creators, filmmakers, producers and actors.

The special will intersperse interviews with the likes of James Earl Jones, George Lucas, Jessica Alba, Mike Myers and Steven Spielberg, among others, with clips and cutting-edge graphics, according to Bravo officials.

Without giving away the exact order, the top five superheroes are: Spider-Man, Indiana Jones, Superman, Batman and James Bond.

Among supervillains, the quintessential evil quintet is: The Terminator, Darth Vader, The Joker, Green Goblin and Lex Luthor.

As for the vixens, the special’s top five: The Bond Girls, Catwoman, Xena, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Lara Croft.

Elsewhere, Bravo -- which has already taken viewers backstage with Showbiz Moms & Dads and into the pet arena with Show Moms & Dads -- will shine the light on the high-stakes world of kids’ athletics with Sports Kids Moms & Dads.

The eight-part series, debuting June 1 at 10 p.m., will follow the struggles and conflicts of five families whose children strive to excel in the “win-at-all-costs” world of sports. Tracy Austin, the youngest player ever inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame, will narrate and lend her own perspectives as former child-sports prodigy.
