Anime Network has reached a 10-year linear-carriage agreement with Buckeye CableSystem.
The service will launch Dec. 21 for Buckeye subscribers in the Greater Toledo and Sandusky, Ohio, markets on channels 239 and 249, respectively.
Available as part of the MSO’s digital variety package, Anime will also include a video-on-demand component.
“We at Buckeye CableSystem are pleased to be able to offer this genre of programming to our customers, and we welcome the opportunity to put it on free VOD, as well as a digital channel of its own,” Buckeye vice president of sales and marketing Florence Buchanan said.
