C-SPAN Looks at First Ladies
C-SPAN's new book on the First Ladies will be released Tuesday.
The book, First Ladies: Presidential Historians on the Lives of 45 Iconic American Women, stems from C-SPAN's First Ladies: Influence and Image series, which aired in 2013 and 2014 and featured historians and biographers talking about the women behind and beside the Presidents.
From Frances Cleveland marrying her guardian, Grover Cleveland, to Michelle Obama defining herself as "mom-in-chief," the book provides insights and historical perspective.
