Cable Nets Win Juried Emmys
Nickelodeon and A&E Network won Emmy Awards.
The two networks were among those named by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Tuesday as part of the 2004 Creative Arts Awards, to be held Sunday, Sept. 12, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
An award for “Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation” went to Seonna Hong, background stylist for Nickelodeon animated series My Life as a Teenage Robot, for the episode, "The Wonderful World of Wizzley."
And an award for “OutstandingCostumes for a Variety or Music Program” went to costume designer Jef Billings and costume supervisor Regina Winters for A&E’sSmucker'sStars on Ice 2004.
The two awards are juried award categories, which have no nominations.
