Hallmark Channel will fulfill many a cable-network executive’s fantasy when it kills an MSO programming executive.
Adelphia Communications Corp. vice president of programming Abby Aronsohn will appear on the network’s Mystery Woman, in which she will play “a young mother who meets an untimely end in a pivotal flashback scene,” the network said Tuesday.
“We thought this would be a fun way to get our valued affiliate partners involved with one of our most ambitious original-programming initiatives,” Hallmark senior VP of network distribution and service Janice Arouh said in a prepared statement.
Mystery Woman, starring Emmy Award-nominated Kellie Martin (Christy, Life Goes On), is one of 12 original movies the network is producing for its three “Hallmark Channel Mystery Movie” franchises.
