Cable Shows, NBA Finals Dominate TV Twitter Chatter
Cable programming dominated the Twitter Tv charts yesterday among entertainment networks, according to Nielsen.
USA Network’s WWE Monday Night Raw was the most social entertainment show on June 13, generating 125,000 tweets, according to Nielsen’s daily Twitter TV ratings. CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 was second with 45,000 tweets, followed by MTV’s Scream, Freeform’s new series Guilt and Comedy Central’s At Midnight With Chris Hardwick, according to Nielsen.
The Cleveland Cavaliers’ win over the Golden State Warriors in game five of the NBA Finals aired by ABC was easily the most talked about live sports show on Twitter during the day, generating a whopping 2.2 million tweets, said Nielsen.
