Power & Telephone Supply Co. of Canada will buy Cabletel Communications Corp.’s distribution business, Cabletel said Friday.
The sale will include the unit’s current inventory and the Cabletel name.
The transaction is subject to a number of customary conditions, including completion of due diligence, the execution of definitive documentation and court approval in Ontario.
The parties are seeking to complete the transaction on or before March 12. The purchase price was not disclosed.
