Cablevision Systems Corp. launched Uncensored On Demand, a subscription-video-on-demand service from IFC Digital Media, Oct. 6.
The service is priced at $4.95 per month, and it contains 20 hours of content across religion, politics, the arts and sex. About 25% of the content will be refreshed each month.
The Independent Film Channel plans a marketing push that begins Oct. 13, with outdoor billboards, radio and print ads, as well as direct mail.
