Cablevision Systems extended its deal with Sprint Nextel to offer discounts to Optimum Business voice and data customers at nearly 60 Sprint stores in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
Previously the Sprint offer was available only to Cablevision customers ordering by phone and Web. Under the deal with Sprint, the MSO's business customers and their employees can receive a 15% discount on certain wireless services plans and more than 35% off promotional devices.
Cablevision's other Optimum Business Benefits partners offering discounts to customers are ADP, CardWorks, Citrix Online, Digital Insurance, FedEx, Network Solutions and U.S. Business Technology.
Sprint and Cablevision said each Sprint location has dedicated staff members who have been trained on the Optimum Business Benefits offer.
"Our small business customers have shared that small business solutions are notoriously complicated and often prefer to meet in person with sales representatives to discuss features or better understand a benefit," Sprint regional vice president Keith Dardis said in a statement. "By bringing the Optimum Business Benefits program to Sprint locations, we are giving qualified small businesses this ability."
