Cablevision Systems Corp. has launched a revamped Optimum Store.com, a site providing the operator’s customers with access to information and significant savings on an array of consumer electronics products.
Optimum Store.com affords a one-stop shopping experience for Cablevision customers and features the latest in consumer electronic products, customer ratings and online video tutorials addressing frequently asked questions. Featuring goods related to the company’s iO digital television, Optimum Voice and Optimum Online high-speed services can be found at the site, www.optimumstore.com.
iO TV customers can also find product reviews and consumer electronics information on CNET TV, a free interactive channel available on channel 607, or through the enhanced TV menu, in the express category.
Featured products include high-definition televisions, DECT 6.0 cordless phones, Bluetooth devices, home audio equipment and more. Customers enter the site after providing their Optimum ID and then can browse and make purchases securely via credit card.
Online Sales Central is the preferred firm handling the transactions and shipping fulfillment. Deal terms between Cablevision and the vendor were not disclosed.
“There are plenty of places to shop on the Internet, but we believe the Optimum Store.com is special and unique, because we’ve built it for our customers, to ensure that they have access to the most relevant and up-to-date information on the products that most enhance their Optimum services, at the greatest value,” Cablevision senior vice president of marketing and business development Gemma Toner said in a statement.
