ABC Cable Networks Group on Monday tapped Jill Casagrande as senior vice president, worldwide programming at ABC Cable Networks Group.
She will be responsible for overseeing the company's global kids programming assets.
Casagrande will report to Sweeney and remain based at the group's corporate offices in Burbank, Calif.
Her most recent role was in Tokyo, overseeing the launch of Disney Channel Japan. She had previously served as senior vice president of programming for Disney Channel in the U.S.
