CenturyLink: We’re Back Online
published
CenturyLink said it had restored broadband service to “most customers” by mid-day Tuesday following an outage that apparently had affected a significant portion of the company’s 5.8 million broadband customers since early Tuesday morning.
“We had an issue with our core routers, which created problems for customers using some of our services,” a spokeswoman said, noting that most CenturyLink broadband customers were back online by 1 p.m. ET/Noon CT.
CenturyLink didn’t elaborate on the technical glitch, but said it continues to investigate the issue.
