Disney Channel will add Charlie and Lola to its “Playhouse Disney” programming block.
The series was inspired by the children's books by author and illustrator Lauren Child, and it tells the story of “a tender, nonstereotypical sibling relationship between a supportive seven-year-old brother and his feisty yet fond four-year-old sister,” the network said.
The short-form series will air weekdays beginning Monday, March 21 at 9:30 a.m. (EST/PST).
