Charter Adds TV Japan As Premium Network
By MCN Staff
published International Media Distribution said TV Japan and TV Japan HD have launched on Charter Communications systems in eight states as a premium network, the programmer said. It said Charter is offering the network for $14.99 per month, which is about $10 less than competing providers Dish Network, Verizon FiOS TV and AT&T U-verse charge. The launch comes at a time of cultural significance for Japanese communities, as cherry blossom festivals celebrate spring, renewal and friendship.
The Charter markets are in Alabama, California, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.
