Charter Hires Rocky Boler As Customer Care SVP
Charter Communications has hired Rocky Boler, a longtime cable industry customer service professional, as senior vice president, customer care. He will oversee all facets of the Charter customer care organization and continue the focus on delivering superior service to Charter customers, the company said. He reports to executive vice president Kip Mayo, who said in a release: “Rocky has had a long tenure in the cable industry and brings both strategic leadership and hands-on experience to his role at Charter.”
Before coming to Stamford, Conn.-headquartered Charter, he served as SVP of customer service at Cablevision Systems for more than a decade.
He also has held customer service and technical leadership positions at Barnes and Noble, Sears Roebuck Corporation, Pitney Bowes Corp. and IBM Corporation. He earned a master’s degree from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
