Charter Communications Inc. will distribute ImaginAsian TV as part of a carriage agreement between the two companies.
The network, with programming targeting the Asian-American community, is currently in 2 million homes.
“ImaginAsian TV gives our local systems the flexibility to address the Asian marketing niche if demand is there,” Charter vice president of programming R.B. Lerch said in a prepared statement. “ImaginAsian TV could prove to be very popular in markets with a large population of Asians.”
