Charter Communications named former Adelphia Communications senior vice president Paula Trustdorf as president of its West division, overseeing about 1.2 million customers in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Texas.
Trustdorf, who replaces former West division president Eric Brown, will be based in Long Beach, Calif. She will report to Charter chief operating officer Mike Lovett.
Trustdorf has about 13 years’ experience in the cable industry, most recently as senior VP for Adelphia’s central region, responsible for about 1.4 million customers. Prior to Adelphia, Trustdorf held senior operations positions at AT&T Broadband; Australis Media in Adelaide, South Australia; TCI of Colorado; and United Airlines.
“Paula's appointment brings to the West division a leader who is exceptionally qualified and one who has a proven operations track record,” Lovett said in a prepared statement. “Her operational experience will serve Charter and our customers well.”
