Charter Communications Inc. has filed suit in U.S. District Court in St. Louis against the Recording Industry Association of America after the RIAA issued subpoenas seeking the identities of 150 Charter subscribers.
"We consider our customer relationship to be our most important responsibility," Charter chief operating officer Margaret Bellville told Reuters. "We exercised our legal right to protect the legitimate interests of our customers and our interests."
