Charter Communications Inc. said it will deploy Ascent Media Group's asset-traffic and management system for its video-on-demand launches in its nCUBE VOD markets.
Ascent's "VTMS" ("VOD Traffic and Management System") tracks VOD titles from inception through distribution and propagation to servers. Ascent said the system captures internal server-side content information and usage reporting.
