Cinergy MetroNet, a broadband-service provider based in Evansville, Ind., picked Alcatel’s fiber-to-the-home products to offer high-bandwidth triple-play services -- voice, video and data -- to 11 communities in Indiana.
Alcatel will supply passive-optical-networking FTTH equipment.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
