Continuing to round out its programming lineup, Yankees Entertainment &
Sports Network will televise six Columbus Clippers minor-league baseball games
this season.
YES -- the rookie regional sports network anchored by 130 New York Yankees
Major League Baseball games -- will package Clippers contests, beginning with
the club battling Durham April 29, with four Staten Island Yankees games under
the 'Minor League Monday' moniker.
Columbus and Staten Island are Yankees' affiliates at the AAA and A levels,
respectively.
All told, YES, which launches March 19, is scheduled to air nine Staten
Island games in 2002.
