CN8 Gets Philadelphia Carriage
CN8, The Comcast Network has inked a deal with Time Warner Cable in its parent’s home market of Philadelphia.
Beginning Dec. 21, the news, talk, entertainment and regional programmer will be available on basic cable on channel 8 to some 47,000 subscribers via Time Warner’s Urban CableWorks system, which serves the Manayunk, Roxborough, West Philadelphia, East Falls and University City areas of the “City of Brotherly Love.”
CN8 -- which launched in June in Pittsburgh, its 10th market -- reaches more than 7 million homes. In addition to Harrisburg and the aforementioned Pennsylvania markets, the Comcast Corp.-owned service airs in New York; Boston and Springfield, Mass.; Baltimore and Salisbury, Md.; Providence, R.I.; and Hartford/New Haven, Conn.
