CNBC on-air talent Ron Insana will deliver the morning keynote at next week's
SkyFORUM conference, the Satellite Broadcasting & Communications Association
said Tuesday.
Insana hosts Street Signs on the financial-news cable network.
Other highlights from the semiannual event include a luncheon speech by
Blockbuster Inc. chairman John Antioco and a panel of Wall Street analysts who
follow direct-broadcast satellite.
Industry-news junkies might be drawn by a DBS satellite CEO roundtable that
is promised to include EchoStar Communications Corp. chairman Charlie Ergen,
DirecTV Inc. chairman Eddy Hartenstein, Pegasus Communications Corp. chairman
Mark Pagon and National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative president Bob
Phillips.
SkyFORUM will be held Friday, Sept. 14, at the Marriott Marquis in
Manhattan.
