Wesley Coleman joined Disney as executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
Coleman had been VP, global HR at Nike.
At Disney, he will be responsible for managing employee communications; organizational and cultural development; employee education and development; global staffing; diversity; compensation and benefits; and employee relations.
