Comcast Brings GAC to D.C.

published Great American Country has been added to Comcast Corp.’s digital-cable lineup in Washington, D.C.
GAC joins fellow Scripps Networks services Home & Garden Television, Food Network, Do It Yourself and Fine Living, as well as the programmer’s video-on-demand offerings, in the nation’s capital.
“GAC is increasing its popularity among viewers because it is the leader in country music, as well as producing original content, airing high-profile events such as the Academy of Country Music Awards and being the exclusive home to the Grand Ole Opry,” Scripps Networks executive vice president of affiliate sales John Baird said in a prepared statement.
