Comcast Set to Launch Amazon Prime on X1 Next Week
Comcast said the integration of Amazon Prime into its X1 platform, announced over the summer, has been deployed.
When the integration is completely rolled out next week, all X1 users will be able to search and navigate the subscription streaming service natively through X1 using their voice remote.
Comcast has already integrated a number of popular streaming platforms into X1, including Netflix, YouTube and Tubi.

“Prime Video is a fantastic extension of the programming choices available to our customers. By integrating hundreds of thousands of live and on demand choices from the best networks, studios and streaming services, our customers can instantly search, control and watch all of their entertainment in one place with their voice,” said Matt Strauss, executive VP of Xfinity Services for Comcast Cable, in a statement.
The debut of Amazon Prime Video on Comcast roughly coincides with the season two launch of popular Amazon original series The Marvelous Ms. Maisel, which starts streaming Wednesday.
Other popular Amazon Prime originals include Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Man in the High Castle and The Grand Tour.
