Comcast Corp. will use Evolving Systems Inc.’s “OrderPath” and “NumeriTrack” for number portability and number management, the vendor said Tuesday.
Evolving said its local-service-order-activation product, OrderPath, will support the MSO’s number-portability requirements, and NumeriTrack will provide the operator with a solution for its number-management needs.
“As cable providers look to enter the voice market more aggressively, they represent a significant growth area for Evolving Systems, which provides solutions that include activation, mediation and number management,” CEO Stephen Gartside said in a prepared statement.
“Comcast -- the largest broadband and cable provider in the United States -- represents an important win for us in the growing sector of IP [Internet protocol] voice and data services,” he added.
